NIH Publishes Strategic Plan for Data Science (2025–2030)

NIH publishes 5 year strategic plan for Data Science, lays out five key goals to encourage increased integration of data science in biomedical and behavioral research. The plan attempts on increasing data access, management and integration to help researchers tackle challenges related to constantly growing volume of data. Key highlights include:

• Enhanced support for the NIH Data Management and Sharing Policy
• Increased training opportunities in the field of data science for researchers
• Development of a new data ecosystem to connect datasets across multiple platforms
